Most charge a monthly subscription, a transaction fee on each sale, or both. Free plans usually take 7–12% of every sale; paid plans often lower that to 0%. On top of that, the payment processor (usually Stripe) charges its own fee.
Yes, in “You keep”. Stripe’s fee is the same on every platform, so it doesn’t change which one is cheapest. We use the standard US rate of 2.9% + 30¢; rates differ by country and card type.
When the percentage fee on the free plan costs more than the paid plan. On Lynq that’s at about $215 in monthly sales, on Linktree about $290 and on Beacons about $335.
Lynq is a small, focused product run by one person, so it doesn’t need big-company prices. Pro is $15 a month with 0% platform fees, and payments go directly to your own Stripe account.
