Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lynq.ink ("Lynq", "we") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our service — whether you run a page on Lynq (a "creator") or visit, buy from or sign up on a creator's page (a "visitor"). Lynq is operated from Switzerland.
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Ferruccio Hess, Im Meierhof 7, 4600 Olten, Switzerland.
Information We Collect
From Creators
- Account information: email address, username, password (stored only as a secure hash) or your Google account details if you sign in with Google, and your language preference.
- Profile and content: display name, bio, avatar, links, and the products, courses, memberships, booking services and other content you create, including files you upload.
- Payment information: Pro subscriptions are paid through Stripe, and sales on your page go to your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). We store your Stripe account and customer IDs and subscription status, but never your full card or bank details.
- Communications: information you send us when you contact support.
From Visitors of Creator Pages
- Analytics: when someone views a page or clicks a link, we record the approximate location (country, region, city), the referring website, the browser/user agent and the device type. The location is looked up on our own server from the IP address; we do not store the IP address with these events.
- Information you give a creator: if you join a creator's email list or waitlist, buy a product, course or membership, book a session or leave a tip, we collect your name and email address and the details of that order or booking. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
Collected Automatically
- Log and security data: server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type and access times, and short-lived IP-based counters used to prevent abuse (rate limiting).
- Contact form: when you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, topic and message by email (sent through Resend) and use them only to answer you.
- Error reports: technical details about errors so we can fix them. We configure our error monitoring not to send personal data such as IP addresses or cookies, and we do not record session replays.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain and improve the service
- To process payments, deliver purchases and confirm bookings
- To send transactional emails (receipts, access links, booking confirmations, password resets)
- To send creators product emails such as onboarding tips (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To show creators analytics about their page
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse
- To respond to your questions and requests
Creators and Their Visitors
When you sign up, buy or book on a creator's page, your name and email address are shared with that creator so they can deliver what you bought, run their business and contact you. For this data the creator decides how it is used and is responsible for it, for example when they send newsletters to their email list. Lynq processes it on their behalf. Please contact the creator directly with questions about how they use your data.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With creators, as described above.
- With service providers that run parts of the service for us (listed below).
- For legal reasons, if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- With your consent.

We only use cookies that are needed for the service to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Security; this removes your profile, links, content and subscriber data. We may keep records we are legally required to keep, such as payment records.
